Volunteer Roles
Always want to hang out with alpacas??
*All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age or accompanied by an
adult for the entire time. Must be comfortable being outside for
extended periods of time.
Greeter/ Tour Guide
- Greet and direct visitors as they arrive.
- Provide basic information on Alpacas and the farm.
- Field questions from visitors.
Animal and Farm Care
- Basic chores
- Rake pastures.
- Fill hay feeders.
- Sweep out barns.
- Wipe down feed bowls.
- Weeding flower beds.
- Assist in animal health maintenance
- Hose alpacas on hot days
- Provide water & electrolytes
Training will be provided prior to any volunteering responsibilites.
