Come Volunteer at Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm!

If you’ve ever dreamed of spending your days around alpacas—this is your chance! We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to join our farm family and help care for these incredible animals and our beautiful farm in Unity, Maine.

Volunteer Roles

Greeter / Tour Guide

• Welcome and direct visitors as they arrive
   
• Share basic info about alpacas and the farm
   
• Answer questions and enhance the visitor experience
   

Animal & Farm Care

• Rake pastures & clean barns
   
• Fill hay feeders & wipe down feed bowls
   
• Water alpacas and offer electrolytes on hot days
   
• Weed flower beds
   
• Assist with routine animal health care
   

No experience needed—we provide full training!

What You Should Know

• Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, or accompanied by an adult at all times
   
• Must be comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
   
• A good attitude, curiosity, and love of animals is all you need!
