In Person Farm Tours
At Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm located in Unity, Maine we have been offering farm tours since 2006. Alpacas are very social, yet shy and timid, enjoy meeting our farm visitors. They are not fond of being touched but very much enjoy the attention of our farm visitors and of course having their pictures taken. You will have an opportunity to meet our entire herd. As an education center for all things alpaca, come learn more about raising alpacas. We have a very experienced staff on hand every day ready to provide tours geared to the interest of the individual or group. Bring along a picnic and enjoy alpaca watching while you sit at our pasture side picnic tables. Enjoy shopping in our on farm gift shop filled with alpaca yarn, clothing and gifts.
Reservations are strongly recommended for groups of 6 or more. Businesses, schools, summer camps, living facilities, and other large, organized groups must schedule visits in advance by calling Corry at (207) 356-2464.
It's an educational visit
It's a wonderful experience for all ages. Wheel chair and walker friendly. Please leave your dogs at home as the alpacas are easily frightened by them. Physical address of the farm is 141 Crosby brook rd., Unity, Maine 04988.
